Chance Perdomo, ‘Chilling Adventures of Sabrina’ Actor, Dies in Motorcycle Accident at 27
Chance Perdomo, known for his roles in “Gen V” and “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina,” has passed away at 27 due to a motorcycle crash.
The news of Perdomo’s passing was confirmed by his spokesperson, who expressed deep sorrow. “We’re very sad to announce that Chance Perdomo has passed away because of a motorcycle accident. He was known for his love of acting and his lively spirit. Everyone who met him felt his warmth. His kindness will live on with his closest loved ones. We ask for privacy for his family as they grieve their much-loved son and brother.”
The accident did not involve anyone else.
Perdomo was admired for playing Ambrose Spellman in “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina” and Andre Anderson in “Gen V,” a spinoff of “The Boys.”
The team behind “Gen V” expressed their disbelief and sorrow. “We’re finding it hard to believe. Chance was a joy to work with—always full of charm and energy, an incredibly skilled actor, and above all, a truly kind person. It’s surreal to talk about him as if he’s no longer with us. Our hearts go out to his family, and we mourn the loss of our friend and coworker. Remember to hold your loved ones close.”
Chance was born on October 19, 1996, in Los Angeles and moved to Southampton, England, with his mother during his childhood. He went to Redbridge Community School and later Peter Symonds College. Although he initially planned on studying law, he decided to chase his dream of acting in London, joining the National Youth Theatre and training at the Identity School of Acting.
Before landing a main role in “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina,” Perdomo appeared in various TV shows and short films. He played Ambrose Spellman alongside Kiernan Shipka, Ross Lynch, and Jaz Sinclair from 2018 to 2020. His role as Jerome Rogers in the TV movie “Killed by My Debt” (2018) earned him a BAFTA nomination for best actor.
In “Gen V,” he portrayed Andre Anderson, a student with the power of magnetic manipulation. The production of the show’s second season is on hold due to his passing.
Perdomo also acted in the “After” movie series, playing Landon Gibson in “After We Fell” (2021), “After Ever Happy” (2022), and “After Everything” (2023).
